Joe Lovett, in addition to being a celebrated television producer and founder of Lovett Productions, has been living with Glaucoma, a disease that gradually robs people of their vision over many years. His own experience with vision loss has inspired him to discover other people's stories, to tell their fascinating accounts of the loss we fear most, going blind.

Jessica Jones, a 39-year-old photographer, who has lost her vision to diabetic retinopathy. This particular cause of blindness will be on the rise with our aging population. Jessica teaches art at a school in the Bronx for blind children with multiple disabilities..

Peter D'Elia, an 85-year-old architect, who over the past ten years has been losing his eyesight due to macular degeneration. Despite his vision loss, Peter continues to pursue his love of architecture.

Emmet Teran, a 10-year-old albino child with Nystagmus, a condition that causes the eye to shake. Emmet needs every detail to be enlarged in order for him to see, limiting his participation in school, sports, and social activity. Recent operations have given some hope, but will he ever have the same access to life that his older brother has?
