During his ten years as a producer for ABC News “20/20,” Joe produced the first in-depth AIDS investigations for national television. Joe founded Lovett Productions in 1989. From 1992 - 1996, Joe wrote, directed, and produced In a New Light, an annual AIDS outreach special for ABC in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In 2001, Joe was awarded the George Foster Peabody award for HBO’s Cancer: Evolution to Revolution, which he wrote, directed, and produced. In 2003, Joe directed Three Sisters: Searching for a Cure, a film on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis for HBO that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Also in 2003, Joe executive produced State of Denial, a feature documentary on AIDS in South Africa for PBS funded by the Ford Foundation. In 2005, Joe directed and produced Gay Sex in the 70’s, a feature film on the pre-AIDS era in New York City. In 2006, Joe executive produced Too Hot Not To Handle, a primer on global warming for HBO, and Rock Bottom, a feature film on the crystal methamphetamine epidemic, which was released in theaters in 2007. |

Logan joined Lovett Productions in 2004. After concentrating on post-production, he quickly transitioned into production, assisting on several HBO documentaries, including producing the graphics and animation packages for Too Hot Not to Handle, the critically acclaimed primer on global warming that premiered on Earth Day 2006. Since then he has been associate producing regularly for projects such as Save The Children, Zero to Three and NYC Mayor’s Office. Additionally, Logan oversees the daily logistical, administrative and technical operations of the company. He graduated with honors from Columbia University.
